The Assessors Office is open from 8 to 4 Monday,
Wednesday and Thursday, from 8 to 7 Tuesday, and 7 to Noon on Friday. The Board meets
every Tuesday afternoon from 4 to 6. Appointments for onsite property inspections or
meetings with the Board may be arranged by calling the office during working hours.
The Assessing Department is comprised of a three member Board of Assessors
consisting of a full-time Chairman-Principal Assessor, Diane O'Connor and two part- time
Assessors, Robert Leonard and Priscilla Hogan. The office support staff is Judy McKenzie
and Jennifer O'Neill.
Fiscal year 1998 is a revaluation year for all property in the Town of
Northborough. This complex revaluation process along with several internal technical
problems has delayed the certification of values by the Massachusetts Department of
Revenue. As of the date of this sub- a floral year 1998 tax rate has not been set.
As always, the Assessor's Office is available to answer any questions or
explain any process used to perform our statutory duties.
